Individual Healing Trauma Intensive
An Individual Intensive offers a unique approach to therapy by focusing on the character of God from an attachment perspective while utilizing EMDR therapy to heal from trauma. During an intensive, the client meets with the therapist for an extended period, typically three to 12 hours over one to two days.
Research indicates that this format is more efficient and effective at helping clients meet their goals and achieve symptom relief faster (Butler & Ramsey-Wade, 2024).

Unique Benefits of a Trauma Intensive:
01
More efficient
In an intensive program, less time is spent having to set up the therapy process and wrap up the therapy process at the end of weekly sessions. Longer therapy sessions allow time for the Client to do deeper work and arrive at greater symptom relief.
02
Reduce Cost
Most people find that investing in an intensive program cost less than what they would spend on weekly sessions over time.
03
Faster
Experience faster and more effective symptom relief by completing the amount of work in a 2-day intensive, that would compare to months of individual weekly therapy
04
Symptom Relief
Research shows that most people experience a 60%-90% reduction in symptoms after EMDR treatment and in an intensive format relief is even more effective (Butler & Ramsey-Wade, 2024).
05
Reduce frustration and dropout rate
Research shows that Clients are better able to complete the counseling process in an intensive, as compared to weekly counseling in which Clients can become frustrated and overwhelmed and drop out of therapy (Butler & Ramsey-Wade, 2024
06
Individually Tailored
You and your therapist can determine if a ½ day, 1 day, or 2 day intensive would meet your needs and goals.
07
Focus on the root of the issue
In an intensive format, it allows the Client to focus on the root of the issues instead of other symptoms that arise in weekly therapy.
08
Convenient Time Commitment
Instead of committing to months of therapy in your schedule, you can commit to 2 days of therapy. This is especially helpful to those who travel a lot or cannot meet on a weekly basis.
